I just uploaded our love
Mixed media installation
This installation explores the relationship between tangibility of physical memory and intangibility of digital memories. Memories that take the form of physical materials and objects --such as fabric, clothes, desks --actually communicate with human beings, and contain the emotional and the temporal. In contrast, digital memories are constructed out of gadgets, fibers, raster data that float in the invisible, yet eternal space of the archive. In addition to the relationship between these two different dimensions of memory, the work also draws from an urban intimacy crisis, experienced by those living in urban spaces driven by cutting-edge technologies and yet limits the physical interaction between human beings.
